If you are a potential incoming family who stumbled upon our site: “Welcome!” Current South Side parents have all been in a similar place and we know that the choice process can sometimes seem overwhelming. As you learn more about South Side, we hope that you get a sense of our close-knit community, fantastic teachers & staff, and school pride.

Want to Know What’s Happening at South Side?

The South Side Elementary and PTA communication tool is a website and app called MemberHub. MemberHub is where it’s at! Joining gets you access to messages, news, events, reminders, the PTA newsletter, the school directory, spirit wear store, and more.

Make South Side Your Charity of Choice

Connect your regular everyday shopping to South Side PTA and support your school!

  • Amazon Smile—Turn your Amazon purchases into money for South Side. Go to Amazon Smile and select “South Side PTA” in Champaign as your charity. Make sure it’s South Side in Champaign! When making purchases, just go to smile.amazon.com. It works exactly like Amazon, but gives 0.5% to our PTA.
  • Schnucks—Pick up a Schnucks eScrip card in the store, then register your card here. Any time you shop, present your card, and a percentage of your bill is donated to your school.

Find South Side PTA at South Side Elementary School in Champaign, Illinois. Access the front doors of the school building via the parking lot and entrance on New Street. The former Pine Street address no longer represents the school’s main entrance.
